London Web Travel – Terms and Conditions

For the convenience of customers and passengers, London Web Travel has taken efforts to state the terms and conditions that govern our business operations.

Pricing

Prices offered to customers are based on their willingness to travel at the time when bookings are made. These prices quoted are on a point to point basis and do not include any stopovers and/or diversions. For any such change in travel plan, an additional fare might be chargeable.

A seasonal surcharge of 50 percent on basic prices is chargeable on specified dates such as 24 to 26th December, 31st December, and 1st January.

All quotations made on the basis of the car you select.

Payments

Payments could either be made in the form of cash or through debit/ credit cards. We accept cards for all major payment terminals.

Cash Payments

Customers might make their payment in cash to the chauffeur after the journey is over. Cash payments could only be made in British Sterling. Currency of any other form is not acceptable.

Payment by Cards

Customers wanting to pay through cards must do so at the time of booking. Cards are charged before or on the journey date. All card payments would attract an additional processing fee of £3.00. For bookings over £100, an additional charge of £6.00 is to be paid by customers. Customers making their bookings over telephone or opting for cash payments need not pay through cards.

Choice of Vehicles

It is the responsibility of the customer to book the correct vehicle depending on the number of passengers and their baggage. A saloon car could be hired for a maximum of four passengers as it is insured likewise. Reward for accidents of saloon cars is restricted to four passengers only. Similarly the MPV5, MPV6, and MPV8 car we arrange are insured for a maximum of five, six, and eight people respectively.

Restriction of Passenger Headcount and Luggage

We reserve the right to refuse any passenger if their headcounts go beyond the prescribed upper limits. We might also refuse to carry baggage which is either in excess or is found dangerous for our vehicles while on road. Passengers are requested to refrain from carrying extra or uninformed luggage.

Loading and Unloading

Normally, the responsibility of loading and unloading of luggage lies with the customer/ passenger. We bear no responsibility and nor are liable for any damage to your luggage, whatsoever, during loading and unloading. Chauffeurs could lend a helping hand but solely at the discretion of our customer/ passenger. In such case, the chauffeur claims no responsibility for any damage or unwanted event.

Waiting Time

At airports, passengers/ customers are to be present at the pre-fixed time after arrival of flights. A small relaxation of 45 minutes is permissible. Beyond that, a charge of 30 pence per minute is chargeable. For pickups within London and adjoining areas, a waiting time of ten minutes is allowed and beyond that a charge of 30 pence per minute is calculated. Fares are based with the assumption that passengers would be ready to move as soon as the vehicle arrives.

No Show

Charges are not refundable for ‘no show’
